Important Notice: Closure of Balto

Dear Balto Users,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Balto will be shutting down on Wednesday, January, 31st, 2018.

Balto officially launched January of 2017 with the aim to do two things: empower development teams by streamlining feedback collaboration and assist in speeding up the kaizen (improvement) cycle of their beta apps and websites. With a few simple taps, users could seamlessly capture, send and discuss screenshot and screen recordings areas that needs brushing up, all right from the Balto app.

However, the difficulty of growing the user base in addition to sustaining a steady stream of revenue was challenging. We gave it our all, but after many discussions the difficult decision was made to pull the plug. We’re deeply sorry.

We hope by giving you advance notice this will give you and your team the time needed to transfer to another platform or find alternative means to continue the feedback process. Below is the schedule for the remaining time left of Balto. Please note: This schedule may be subject to change.

For users who have upgraded their account, a refund for the remainder of the plan will be processed in February 2018. If you’d like to receive a refund before then, please send us an email at hello@balto.io .

If there’s any data you’d like to keep, please download it before the closure date as once Balto has been shut down, all data will be erased.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to all of our users and to those who’ve rallied around Balto every step of the way. Although this journey was short-lived, we are happy we could make a difference.
